How to play: Swipe (or press the arrow keys) to slide every tile in that direction. Tiles with the same number merge into one when they touch. A new tile appears after each move; make a 2048 tile before the board fills up.

Scoring: Every merge adds the value of the new tile to your score (two 8s merging gives 16 points). Roughly 90% of new tiles are 2s and 10% are 4s. A common strategy is to keep your biggest tile in a corner and avoid swiping in the direction that would pull it out. Your best score is saved in this browser only.
