Find out what you need to put aside each month to hit a savings target. Enter the amount you are aiming for, how much you have saved already, how many months you have, and the interest rate your savings account pays (leave it at 0% if you keep the money in a checking account). Tap a preset to load a typical goal and adjust from there. The result shows the monthly amount, the total you will deposit yourself, and how much of the goal the interest covers.

How it works: With a monthly rate r = APY ÷ 12 and n months, your current savings grow to S × (1 + r)n, and each deposit compounds too, so the monthly amount is (Goal − S × (1 + r)n) × r ÷ ((1 + r)n − 1). At 0% it is simply (Goal − S) ÷ n. Deposits are assumed to land at the end of each month; the weekly figure is the monthly amount ÷ 4.33. This is an estimate, not financial advice.
